Providing the tools to create the Legacy that is your life and immortalizing it for future generations.
We are the Memoreum Group!
"Measure life by the impact we leave on the world arround us and we have the potential to live forever."
Founded on the belief that every person's life is rich with extraordinary experiences that should
be captured, honored and preserved for future generations.
The Memoreum Group is dedicated to building a circle of organizations with the purpose of:
- Using media rich technology to give individuals the ability to create a legacy
through their experiences, knowledge and wisdom
- Preserving, presenting and honoring that legacy for future generations
- Counseling family and friends through the death of a loved one
- Offer a revolutionary ecological means for being interred back into nature
To bring these goals to life we are working on the following projects :
•The Memoreum Ancestral Museum & Gardens
•Phoenix Mortuary Services
•eMortalMemories.com
•LifeScribe.org
"Preparing to be remembered by future generations furthers our purpose and reason to live fully."
~Christopher Cantley
"..it is through the celebration of life lived and life remembered that immortality is granted."
The Project
The Memoreum Ancestral Museum and Gardens will be the heart of
our operation by bringing together...
- The internet based life-blog website LifeScribe.com to record the
memories and experiences during life
- The after-life 3rd person reflections of friends and families through eMortalMemories.com,
- The unique process of rendering ones remains in a way that they are fully incorporated into the earth using
warm, living trees as markers for ones family
- The storing and displaying the personal artifacts of peoples lives.
We will offer everyone a means of sharing their remarkable moments so that we might continue to learn from
their mistakes and accomplishments. Like so many legends passed down through oral tradition in the past,
it is through the celebration of life lived and life remembered that immortality is granted.
Ancestral Museum
In the midst of this breathtaking estate there
stands a brilliant building with glass walls gleaming in the sun and plants growing from
boxes along all sides. The structure is warm, alive and welcoming.
The Memoreum facility will literally be an ancestral museum with three levels for display cases that
contain personal belongings, and in some cases the actual remains, of the deceased that
reside there. There will be private multi-media booths throughout the facility where people
can view text, video, and listen to audio clips recorded by their deceased loved ones and
even other people who knew them.
Memoreum Grove
Hundreds of acres filled with groves of beautiful trees and gardens; inviting
walkways branching off to disappear behind the trees, some of which are marked with
placards bearing family names and crests.
Each tree will be a place where a family for generations can be interred
at the foot; one plot of land for an entire lineage. This is
possible through remarkable and revolutionary new burial methods that provide a direct and literal
return to the earth. These new methods allow the
land to take up the remains in a useful way, nourishing a family's
tree with new life.

Celebrations of Life
The Memoreum will be unlike any traditional place of rememberance or resting for our departed loved ones. It is a
place where life is celebrated. Life is perpetuated through death in the form of each tree that will make up the estate's groves.
The rows of display cases and multi-media booths keep alive the voices and lives of our ancestors.
It is for this reason that the Memoreum group hosts celebrations of life including weddings, anniversaries,
family gatherings, or christenings.
"This goes beyond blogs and journals by providing other tools that can be used to
delve deeper into a person's life."
The Project
LifeScribe.com is not just a blog or an online journal but a personal way to record one's memories, experiences,
friends, opinions, personal artifacts, knowledge and any other influences and connect them together in a way that
portraits the most interesting story of your life... You!
The goal of LifeScribe is to stitch together each persons life
with their friends, family and the world around them with the end purpose
of carrying on the accumulated stories of poeples lives into the future....beyond their life span.
This allows the user to scribe their life with technology rich
audio and video right from your browser as well as the traditional text
and images. This goes beyond blog's and journals by providing other tools that
can be used to delve deeper into a persons life.
Other LifeScribe features include:
- How-To wizard - You know how to do it, teach everyone else.
- Artifact library - Show and tell the items in your life and their sentiments.
- Ratings - Just got back from a movie? Don't just tell us about it, rate and compare with your friends.
- Message in a Bottle - Leave messages that will get sent out in the future, be it 10, 20 or 50 years from now.
- Inquis-a-gram
- Send a random or specific question to someone to find out more about them.
This is the only autobiographical tool online that works like an online journal to be stored for future generations.
"We believe this will provide a well rounded record of
a person's life for future generations."
The Project
The initial function of this project is to bring the life of those passed into
focus by way of shared experiences. 'eMortalMemories.com' will allow the
family of those passed to manage funerals, take donations and most importantly
share experiences through thought provoking questions either setup by the
system or selectively chosen by the executor.
If the person passed had a LifeScribe account, the biographical
information from their account can be rolled into their eMortalMemories
account and will not only be available online but also available
thorough the Memoreum Ancestral Museum & Gardens via kiosks at the facility.
The true purpose is to provide an easy means for setting up
a permanent remembrance that not only speaks to us from the autobiographical
first person, but also from the sharing of experiences of friends
and family. We believe this will provide a well rounded record of
a persons life for future generations.
"Our guiding light is to simply ask, how did the passing want to be
remembered? How we fulfill that question will be our service to the living."
The Project
I have talked with a number of people who tell me "I don't care what they do with me when I die because I won't
be alive to do anything about it" and in the same breath tell me about what they would want done and how different
it would be from the traditional funeral.
It is out belief that people want to be remembered and do care about how they will be remembered.
We believe that ones death should be a celebration in how a person lives. We believe that we should take an
active part, when we are alive, in writing that final page: to empower the living in determining how they
will be sent off into their next life.
Our goal is...
- To offer new services that are focused on continuing our cycle of
life instead of ending it
- To inter the deceased back into nature so that life can perpetuate
forward and provide a warm living reminder of our memories
- To provide new methods that allow families to use the same plot of land for future generations
- To give back to the land that sustained us in life and not detracting from it in ones passing
- To honor the send-off requests of those who pass
- To comfort those who will carry on the memories of passing friends or family
Our guiding light is to simply ask how did the passing want to be remembered?
How we fulfill that question will be our service to the living.
Alternative Burial
In a world that is awakening to our connection with the land
that sustains us and in light of new technology, it is becoming harder
to justify using methods that in our final action takes away from the
world and the people that we leave living in it. This coupled with the
growing costs of funeral services due to the premium on plot space or
growing emission controls is a financial drain on our society.
We are looking to a horizon that will soon offer technology which will be ecologically sound, cost less than
traditional methods and provide a new philosophy of celebrating those who have passed on.
Among those technologies is Promession. A process that
breaks down the body to dry organic dust that can be interred at the
foot of a tree and becomes fully absorbed into the ground in a little
over a year.
Imagine...
- Having a single plot of land that an unlimited number of family members can be entered into.
- Having a single living symbol, such as a tree, growing at that plot, literally producing life from lives past.
- Having future generations sitting under your tree, taking in the
shade on a beautifully day.
We believe that the literal symbol for the life one lives should be warm, alive and comforting, not cold, hard and lifeless.
We seek methods for generating life from lives past in a way that adds to the world and brings peace to the living.
The Remembrance
Similar to a wake or a receiving of friends, the remembrance
is a time where friends and family come to support each other
and to record the memories and experiences they shared with those
who passed. Each receiving room will contain a number of Remembrance
Booths that friends and family can use during their visit.
The Remembrance Booth provides an enclosed and private space
with an easy to use touch screen system that will provide the individual
with questions intended to prompt memories and experiences. A person
can record their answer in video and audio, just audio or by typing out
your response.
These archived memories will then be made available online for
anyone or specific individuals to view and executors of a persons Remembrance
will be able to administrate the recordings.
