- - - Purpose
"Preparing to be remembered by future generations furthers our purpose and reason to live fully."
Purpose
The purpose of the Memoreum Group is to redefine the funeral industry; offering the
common person an immortalization of ones life experiences, beliefs, and memories that
will continue to influence and educate current and future generations.
The Memoreum Group is founded on the belief that:
- Every person has extraordinary moments worth recording.
- Every person should have the opportunity to be remembered in detail.
- People want to know about the lives of their friends, family and ancestry.
- Today's technology is capable of recording ones experiences indefinitely and making them available for anyone to see.
- There should be a more complete means for remembering and celebrating each person's life.
- The services should be competitive with today's funerary expense.

Todays Immortals
History is full of immortal legends that live on through amazing stories of failure and triumph.
We hear these stories when we talk to friends or family about the impossible feats of sports stars
of the past, when our grandparents or great grandparents tell us about their lives during the harsh
times of war. The subjects of these stories sometimes reach levels of almost mythic proportions.
Who are our current day immortals? They are Hollywood's highest paid actors, top selling musicians
and authors who make it to the top of best sellers lists. They are the movers and the shakers, the
people who have made a lasting impression on society and will continue to have an effect long after
they are gone.
How will you be remembered?
Today you have two options available: Cremation or Casket Burial. Neither option says anything about
the person you are today, the child you were in yesteryears or who you will be as you age and grow in
experience. In today's society, if the common person does not leave behind a journal or record of their
experiences, the memories and stories of the person will be lost within two generations time. Passing
down journals, at best, will limit access to your life's content to a few or, at worst, get put into a
box, forgotten or lost to time.
The Memoreum Group is dedicated to building organizations with the purpose of recording the memories of the
living, counseling through times of tragic loss and preserving the memories of those who have passed on.
Our goal is to Provide security in knowing that you or your loved ones will continue to live on through
your memories, the memories shared by others and life-cycle burial processes.
- - - Plan
The Plan – Phase 1
Will consist of information gathering, getting our three primary websites operational and starting a grassroots advertisement campaign.
~ Information
Some of our biggest questions include:
- How much is this going to cost the end user?
- How much overhead and assets will be required?
- How can we make the difference not only profitable but growth capable?
- Exactly what range of services will we offer?
- How can we design the businesses to maximize the most amount of benefit?
- How can we market this new approach toward such a delicate market?
These are only a handful of the questions before us and we have a talented board of advisors who are working to put this big puzzle together in a way that will portray our new view on the funerary industry; a view focused not only on servicing the living, but preserving the memories of lives past.
As a precursor to incorporating the Promession process as one of our key funerary services, we will trip to Sweden to meet with the founders of the Promessa Foundation in order to assess the complexity of their Promatory system and our plans to bring Promession to the US.
~ The Websites
-
MemoreumGroup.org: A site to continue directing our focus to the end goal and provide information about our cause. This is our keel to keep the projects on task and in focus.
-
LifeScribe.com: A life-blog designed not only to record daily activities, but also to dynamically ask questions about each individual’s life based on their hobbies, how old they are and where they grew up. It will also allow the user to store images and descriptions of personal artifacts that are important to each person and connecting it to stories about that item. This is the first step to truly recording ones life through experiences, memories and opinions and then linking that to friends and family.
-
EmmortalMemories.com: This site provides a number of services. It is a place where family and friends can come to share in their memories of those who have passed on using a similar system as Emmortality.com. It allows family to communicate funeral arrangements as well as gather donations to help with the funeral costs. It is also a continuation of Emmortality.com for an individual who was once a member of Emmortality.com can have their account switched over to EmmortalMemories.com, combining the 1st person experiences of the deceased with the 2nd and 3rd person experiences of friends and family.
Once the Ancestral Museum is constructed, EmmortalMemories.com will have a special division created for those who opt to use the Ancestral Museum and Summerland Estate as their final residence.
~ Grass Roots
We have a number of talented gurus in the medical, genealogical and information system industry who will provide the best means to market to:
- Online Journal/Blog enthusiasts
- Genealogy hobbyists
- Terminally Ill Patients
- Surviving relatives looking for a new means of celebrating lives past
The websites that we will put up in the first year will not only provide a service will be the foothold to our marketing strategy in advance of completing the Memoreum Ancestral Museum.
Phase 2 – Investors
At this point we will have:
- Land located and priced
- Facility construction designed and price estimated
- Promation process priced and ready to franchise to the rest of the US
- Websites already active and promoting the facility and its services
- Clientele anxious to invest and finally partake in our new vision of immortality
When we come to investors we will have a plan that answers the questions with real numbers but also with part of the business already up and functional and stocked with interested prospects. Our goal is to have people anxious to start investing in their future plans to use our unique funeral services, grove estate and ancestral museum; anxious for the security of knowing that their remains, personal effects, memories and reflections will reside in a better place than what is currently offered.
Phase 3 – Build it
This will include relocating to our target market location, which at this time looks to be Oregon, as well as bringing along any of the board of advisors who wish to further their involvement in the project through direct employment. This includes more active marketing to the region (surrounding states included) for we feel that these services have a uniqueness that will draw interest from outside of the local area.
Phase 4 – Open for Business
The full orchestration of the business will be discovered and we will begin to work on finding a perpetual method for success that will eventually lead to franchised regional operations in the US and Canada. As an additional line of business, we are in communication with the Promessa Foundation for becoming the franchise distribution center of the Promatory system for all of North America.
